Corrective eye surgery? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)

Each of my eyes are past 20/400. Would corrective surgery help get it to around 20/30 or better? I have astigmatism in my left eye. I am in college working towards a microbio degree but I also really want to join the state police VERY much! Should I chance it? How much would a severe case like this cost? Thanks!

At birth, something went wrong and now i have a lazy eye. the muscles are messed up so it makes the right eye turn to the right. I was wondering if I should get the surgery and what will happen when i get it done. I asked my friend Jesse if I should get it done, but he didn't really help. I asked a couple of other friends and they said sure. Please help. Thanks and it isnt Amblyopia im already blind in that eye

how much it it ? how safe is it? how old do you have to be to get it? do the results last a lifetime? how bad does your vision have to be in order to be qualified? sorry i know its alot of questions but i need to know. thanks in advance.
